What I realized other than the fact that my photos sucked back then was I shot quantity over quality. Sure snapping 30 or more photos of the same thing is great, but the photographer has to get quality angles and compositions in. While updating my portfolio I found that a lot of my photo opportunities were wasted because I wasn’t thinking much while I was photographing, I was basically filling up my cards. Now that I’ve matured and realized that quality shots are better I believe it might help by lessening my workload, but that’s just the lazy way out. I’ll still fill my cards, but I’ll fill them with good composed shots. Shots that are worthy to be printed as posters and used as wallpapers.
